So, stemming back to the latter part of 2018, a really rough patch was hit emotionally, mentally and spiritually. My best friend at the time, encouraged me to start taking folks on my own tours and hikes, instead of just driving groups to their destinations and leave them to be. At first, it wasn't something that I was desirous of because I grew up in the garden and bushes in Concord, Grenada. My whole life (little did I know) was already that great adventures of wanderlust, on a long awaited hiatus. 

So, with further convincing she got me to start and our first hike took us to Mermaid Pool and ever since then there's been no stopping. Hiking Group and name was registered thereafter, challenges were faced, but the main goal of why everything was started, remained at the helm. 

The goal of Team Importunity (even a story behind that name also) was to get folks to come out as a family unit, to enjoy nature which has such this magical touch with it's emollience, coupled with the array of unprecedented experiences. 

Anyway, as time would permit and experiences would have it, we've grown from just under fifteen (15) persons to well seeing a fluctuation of folks, families and faces throughout the years, thus: the adventures continue with the same goal in mind—“Exploring it all, one step at a time”, and the same desires to connect with what nature has to offer. “The world isn't found in your books and maps, it's out there” and we're a thirst to bask in it's enthralling beauties!
